1. Welcome to ProveLocal

ProveLocal is a free membership program for qualifying members to view and book specialized unpublished local rates for hotels, resorts, attractions and activities through the ProveLocal Online Travel Agency (OTA) site within the state in which they live. Members access the specialized unpublished local rates through the ProveLocal OTA site at These terms and conditions “Membership Terms” are between you and ProveLocal, Inc. Your use of the ProveLocal website and mobile apps are governed by these Membership Terms. By joining ProveLocal as a Member you accept these Membership Terms, as may be revised from time to time, and you represent that you have read and understand them.


2. Membership Program Registration

ProveLocal Membership is for individuals only. In order to utilize specific features on the website and take advantage of benefits offered by joining ProveLocal, individuals need to become Members. All other entities or parties, including but not limited to, corporations, travel agencies, government entities, regulatory bodies, etc., are not eligible to enroll as Members nor receive any benefits in connection with ProveLocal Membership.
Each Member must provide certain requested information in order to register and create a ProveLocal Membership account. During the registration process for ProveLocal Membership, individuals are required to verify their primary place of residence in order to become a ProveLocal Member in the state in which they reside. All information provided by a ProveLocal Member must be valid, accurate and up-to-date at all times.
By Booking or otherwise accepting any ProveLocal services, a Member acknowledges and understands that some or all of their information, including contact information, will be shared with participating ProveLocal Suppliers (including, for example, payment providers and participating hotels, resorts, attractions and activity suppliers) and processed according to their data policies. This sharing is pursuant to written agreements that include confidentiality, privacy and security obligations. If a ProveLocal Member has any questions about ProveLocal’s collection, use, or disclosure of a Member’s data, the Member should consult the ProveLocal Privacy Statement. 


3. Eligibility

Subject to these Membership Terms, a ProveLocal membership is available to any individual who: (a) agrees to these Membership Terms; (b) possesses the legal authority to agree to these Membership Terms; (c) resides in a jurisdiction which legally permits participation in ProveLocal and has provided accurate personal information when enrolling in ProveLocal; and (d) has not previously been terminated from ProveLocal.

Members are responsible for reading and understanding these Membership Terms, and any other communications from ProveLocal about Membership in order to understand their rights, responsibilities, and status in regards to it. Members acknowledges that they are responsible for determining whether they are eligible to receive such ProveLocal OTA services.


4. Other Limitations

  • You may not share, transfer or assign your ProveLocal Membership to anyone or any other entity.
  • Members are not permitted to use the OTA services for any purpose other than the Member’s individual use, including without limitation for the purposes of resale or rental.
  • ProveLocal reserves the right to monitor the ProveLocal accounts of all Members for compliance with these Membership Terms, including to ensure that Members are claiming only one State as their primary residence, and to ensure there are no duplicate accounts.
  • ProveLocal reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to a Members ProveLocal account in the event of violation of these Membership Terms.


5. Modification of Terms

ProveLocal reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change or modify these Membership Terms, from time to time, with reasonable notice to Members. Unless otherwise stated, the updated Membership Terms will apply to your participation in the OTA services beginning as of their effective date.


6. Canceling Your ProveLocal Membership

Once registered, your ProveLocal Membership will continue until you or we cancel it. You may cancel your Membership at any time by signing into your ProveLocal Membership account, after which you may select and then confirm the membership termination option. You can reapply for ProveLocal Membership at any time following cancelation, however ProveLocal reserves the right not to permit re-Membership if Membership Terms had been previously violated.


7. Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your ProveLocal Membership account, or your ability to use the Services, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion, for any reason, and without notice or liability of any kind, as may be necessary to protect our interests and the interests of other users or providers of the services. For example, we may terminate or suspend Membership if we determine that you have misused the ProveLocal website in violation of these Membership Terms, or any applicable local or federal law, regulation or ordinance; involves fraudulent or dishonest use of the services, theft, misconduct, or wrongdoing in connection with a specific ProveLocal Membership account, or is otherwise harmful to our interests or to those of another user. If we terminate or suspend your ProveLocal Membership account for any reason, you are prohibited from registering and/or creating a new ProveLocal account under your name, a borrowed or false name, or the name of a third party.


8. Typographical Errors

If a product is listed on our OTA website at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or information provided by our Suppliers, we have the right to refuse or cancel any reservations made as a result in our sole discretion, whether or not your order has been confirmed and your Payment Method charged. If your Payment Method has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we will issue a credit to your Payment Method in the amount of the canceled charge.

  • For hotel and resort bookings: When you complete a Booking with a hotel or resort Supplier via the ProveLocal OTA platform, your payment information will be collected and transmitted to the Supplier to complete the transaction. The collection and transmission of this payment information shall be handled as described in our Privacy Statement. Please note that the Supplier, not ProveLocal, is responsible for processing your payment and fulfilling your Booking.
  • For attraction and activity bookings: When you complete a Booking for an experience, ProveLocal will process your payment and the Supplier will fulfill your Booking.
