On this Earth Day 2026, we at PL reflect on the fact that our primary mission is to open up local lodging and other tourism related venues to the local community and at the same time encourage less travel and more local appreciation as a means to contribute to lower carbon emissions. PL accomplishes this goal by bringing our members exclusive unpublished rates to our curated list of great Hotels and Resorts in the city or region where they live and to bring new customers to our Hotel and Resort Partners. Leisure travel is a significant source of carbon emissions, and every time we travel unnecessarily, we are contributing to the climate problem.
